About us
We’re the people who Care About Care
Care About Care is a grassroots movement bringing together people who work in care, people using social care services, their families and loved ones, organisations that provide social care, and communities across the country to advocate for meaningful reform of the social care system in England.
In short, it’s a movement for everyone who cares about our communities, cares about our country having a bright future, and cares about building a care system that is there for us all.
Established in response to a growing number of people not being able to access the care they need, Care About Care aims to champion the voices of people working in and relying on care, ensuring they are heard clearly by Government.
Our movement represents a broad coalition, and is funded by individuals, organisations that work in the social care sector, charities, and people with lived experience of the system – reflecting the diversity, scale, and importance of social care across the country.
While Care About Care is run by an independent campaign team, the initial idea came from Providers Unite, with initial funding generously donated by the National Care Association (NCA).
